The 4-step Guide to Spring Care

Spring season calls for a change in your skincare routine. And we are all in to help you with it.

Spring time is officially here. While it calls for spring cleaning your house and reshuffling your wardrobe, there’s a lot more to it. Between all of this, don’t forget to swap your skincare routine too. With changing seasons, it is imperative to switch to new products and the ways to use them. While you have been layering your skin with serums, oils and creams all winter, now is the time to switch to lighter products. And we are here to help you exactly with that.

Here’s your 4-step guide to skincare this spring!

Swap your moisturiser

To start with, reshuffle your vanity shelf. Bring your spring and summer products to the front where they can be easily reachable. Swap your moisturiser for a lighter, water-based cream. The face holds more water when the weather warms up, so opting for water-based products is essential.

Exfoliate, exfoliate

We all know, winter does not leave the skin happy and glowing. Hence, using a gentle exfoliating scrub twice a week is mandatory. It strips away the dry, dead skin and leaves you with healthy and radiant looking skin.

Bring out your SPF

Protecting your skin from the sun’s rays is crucial for maintaining skin health. Apply a sunscreen with SPF 30 and above every time you step out in the sun. Applying a moisturiser with SPF 30 under your makeup also protects your skin from the sun and holds your foundation for longer time.

Spring cleaning your beauty box

Change not only comes with relevant products and the right way of using them but also comes with how clean and dated they are. Sanitise your make up brushes every week with a brush cleaning spray or clean them with regular hand soap and then dry them with a blow-dryer. Unclean brushes and products host a lot of bacteria, which further leads to clogged pores and dull skin. At the same time, spring clean your beauty box and discard all the outdated product that will no longer be of use.
